Reporting to the Executive Director, the incumbent will have day to day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial related activities for the organization. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, cost benefit analysis and procurement (RFPs, RFQs, tenders.) Participates in strategic and business planning and attends and presents reports to the Board of Health and funding partners.
Qualifications and experience: Master’s degree relevant to the job description supported by a professional designation (CA, CMA, CGA); experience in health care and/or public health with progressive leadership and management responsibilities; experience and sound knowledge in the development of financial policy, procedures and guidelines and legislation relevant to the job description; has proven their ability to work effectively within a unionized multi-disciplinary team setting.
