​Sexual Health

The sexual health services provided at the Brant County Health Unit are committed to providing sexual health education, promoting healthy decisions, and providing a confidential and comfortable environment for discussing sexual health. We're dedicated to helping create a social culture where people are empowered to make healthy sexual choices.

  • Clinic

    • Call to make an appointment with a Public Health Nurse at the Health Unit (194 Terrace Hill St.)
  • Drop-in Sexual Health Clinic for Youth
    • A confidential, first come, first served service offered from 4 to 7:30 p.m. each Thursday inside the Grand River Community Health Centre at 363 Colborne St., Brantford. Enter through the front doors of the centre and take a seat in the section marked Drop-In. No appointment or health card needed.
  • Support at High Schools

    • Some of our sexual health clinic services are also available in Brantford and Brant County's public health schools. To contact your school nurse, call 519-753-4937 ext. 471.
  • Sexual Assualt

    • To recieve care for a recent sexual assault, contact Brantford's Sexual Assault Team at 519-751-5507 (service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week) at the Brant Community Healthcare System, Brantford General Hospital site.
    • For continuing support following a sexual assault, contact the Sexual Assault Centre of Brant at 519-751-3471 (service 24 hours per day, seven days a week) for confidential and informative support, and resources.
