We provide testing, counselling, and support to help you have healthy and safe sexual relationships. To book an appointment or ask questions by phone, call 519-753-4937 ext. 471.

FREE Birth Control through the OHIP+ Program:
Those 24 years old and younger are now able to get free birth control from a pharmacy through the OHIP+ program with a prescription from a doctor or nurse practitioner.

The health unit offers:

  • Assistance in getting birth control for those who are not covered under the OHIP+ program
  • Emergency contraception (morning-after pill)
  • Options counselling
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Free male condoms (latex and non-latex)
  • Free female condoms (non-latex)
  • Free dental dams (latex)
 
Birth control is both partners' responsibility. Abstinence is the only way to guarantee 100% protection.
