Children's Safety Village of Brant- Community organization which provides interactive programming for elementary school students ages 4 – 12 years. Students learn the fundamentals of safety and awareness. Programs are grade specific and include fire prevention, smoke alarms, traffic and bicycle safety and stranger awareness. Schools register for programs they are interested in.
Parachute Canada-Offers injury prevention information, statistics, programming and resources for parents, professionals, educators and students on various injury prevention topics, including: bike safety, sport safety, concussion, rail safety, poison prevention, pedestrian safety, helmets, drowning prevention and home safety.
Ophea Safety Guidelines-Provide the minimum standards for risk management for schools. These guidelines include the concussion protocols. Divided into elementary and secondary levels, each containing three separate modules.
Elmer the Safety Elephant-Information, colouring pages and activities on a variety of topics, including: fire safety, railway safety, internet safety, on-road safety, school bus safety and traffic safety.
Parachute Brain Waves Kit-Neuroscience presentation which can be used by teachers of students in grades 4 – 6. Teaches students about different parts of the brain, and why it's important to protect the brain. Online kit for teachers of students in grades 4 – 6 who currently do not have access to this program.
