Please note that due to COVID-19, the Brant County Health Unit will not be holding any food safety courses or exams for the remainder of 2020.
For Food Handler Training and Certification, please visit the Province's Ministry of Health website.

At the Health Unit, we recommend that everyone who works within a food premise attend the Food Safety Course and get certified including:

  • Serving staff
  • Dishwashers
  • Cooks/assistant cooks
  • General help
  • Owners/managers
  • Anyone else interested in food safety

The Food Safety Course is offered to everyone. If you would like to obtain  your food handler certification, re-certify, or write the exam, click on one of the drop-down areas below.
