Prenatal Classes

Our in-person prenatal classes are two, two-hour classes, designed to complement our eClasses. You'll have the opportunity to practice skills and ask Public health nurses your questions.

Topics covered in our in-person classes include:

  • Comfort measures for labour and delivery
  • Birth experience
  • Breastfeeding
  • Baby care
  • Coping skills as a new parent
  • Safety

Cost: Free

Parking

Free parking, and entrance to the building, is available at the back of the Brant County Health Unit (194 Terrace Hill St., Brantford).

When to Register

You can register at any time.  It is suggested you begin classes after your 20th week of pregnancy. You can start eClasses at any time in your pregnancy, but should complete them before attending the in-person classes.
