Parents, do these photos remind you of anyone you know?
Children need at least 60 minutes of physical activity every day to
have the best health possible. The physical activity needs to include
moderate activity (such as bike riding and brisk walking) with vigorous
activity such as running and playing hockey.
This is not difficult to do, as even periods of 5-10 minutes of physical activity are helpful.
Parents play the most important role for ensuring their children
are increasing their level of physical activity. There is much you can
do to change your child’s behavior. Use the links on the sidebar to browse through this section to
learn practical ways to help your child be more physically active and
lead a healthier life.
