Who We Are:

The Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) Youth Advisory Group is a group of youth volunteers from Brantford and Brant County between the ages of 13-18.

We plan health promotion activities and events to impact the health of our community.

We are always looking for more members! It’s a great way to build your 40 hours of community service for high school and gain valuable skills and experiences toward your resume.

SEPTEMBER 8, 2012
TORONTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
TIME: 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
DETAILS:
The Youth Health Action Network is inviting youth groups from across the City of Toronto and the province to take part in this red carpet event.  The day will consist of youth dressed in their finest red carpet attire. There will be opportunities for the public to have their photographs professionally taken in front of a tobacco-free messaging backdrop, alongside a celebrity look-a-like. This event is to educate the film-going public about critically analyzing tobacco use in movies rated for children and youth.

Each year, youth across the province work together to take action on particular issues related to tobacco use prevention. This years focus is Tobacco Industry Denormalization.
